Membership – HOME
Active engagement includes:
(a) A Quantity Surveyor and/or an Estimator in private practice,
(b) The principal, a partner, or a member of a firm practising as a Quantity Surveyor and/or an Estimator,
(c ) An employee of a partnership, firm, or individual practising as a Quantity Surveyor and/or an Estimator,
(d) Employment as a Quantity Surveyor and/or an Estimator in any Government Department, Municipal, Local, or other Authority or Public Body,
(e) Employment as a Quantity Surveyor and/or an Estimator in a firm actively engaged in the design, construction, or development of building or engineering structures or projects,
(f) A person actively engaged in the functions of a Quantity Surveyor and/or an Estimator, being a Director or an employee of a private company, the primary object of which is Quantity Surveying and/or Estimating,
(g) A qualified Quantity Surveyor and/or an Estimator engaged as a full-time educational lecturer.
Any person seeking Corporate Membership of the Association, shall be registered as an Associate Member of the Association, before he will be permitted to sit for the Assessment of Professional Competence of the Association, save as it may be expressly provided otherwise in the Regulations and Syllabus of Professional Examinations.
